JUNIOR SEASON (2020)
Appeared in two games out of the bullpen in his first season as a Red Raider … provided pitching depth that helped Tech go 16-3 during the shortened 2020 season, climbing at one point to as high as No. 1 in the polls for the first time since 1997 … did not allow a run in his 1.1 innings of relief … posted two strikeouts and allowed one hit … made his Red Raider debut with 1.0 innings of work and two strikeouts against Northern Colorado (Feb. 15) … other appearance came against Southern (Feb. 26) where he allowed a hit in 0.1 frames … AGAINST UNRANKED TEAMS … both of his outings came against unranked competition … HOME GAMES … one of three Red Raiders that didn’t allow a run in any home appearances … DAY GAMES … both of his outings came in day games.
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
Played two years under coaches Guy Simmons at Richland College … appeared in 17 games his sophomore season, going 3-5 in 14 starts with one save … posted a 7.34 ERA with 57 strikeouts in 65.0 innings of work … as a freshman, went 2-3 over 15 appearances and six starts and finished with a 12.38 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 32.0 innings.

Played at Wills Point High School in Wills Point, Texas … received District 14-4A first team honors as an outfielder his senior year after earning second team accolades in the outfield as a junior.

Born in Rockwall, Texas… son of Michelle and Adam Gallant… brother to Jessie and Sam Gallant ... has a relative, Cole Ramsey, who played baseball at Northwood University in the Red River Conference in 2012-13 … plans to major in Business Management.
