2023 SEASON (REDSHIRT SEASON)
Returned to play in all 13 games as a regular on special teams and a reserve in the secondary … made seven tackles defensively with two against both Tarleton State (9/16) and at West Virginia (9/23) … notched a tackle at Baylor (10/7), BYU (10/21) and against TCU (11/2) … utilized more defensively late in the season against both UCF (11/18) and Texas (11/24) … played in a season-high 18 defensive snaps versus the Longhorns … credited with 38 defensive snaps total with 15 in the Tarleton State game as well as five versus UCF … member of three of Texas Tech’s special teams units in kickoff coverage, punt return and punt coverage … ranked sixth on the team with 155 snaps on special teams according to Pro Football Focus … SENIOR DECISION: elected to utilize an extra year of eligibility for the COVID-shortened 2020 campaign to return for the 2024 season.
