- Appeared in three games during his final season as a Red Raider … praised by coaching staff for his leadership ability in the offensive line room and with the team overall … ultimately decided to step away from football following the season in order to concentrate on studies as a doctoral candidate at Texas Tech.
- Made his Red Raider debut in the season opener versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30) … inserted along the offensive line in wins over UCF (11/15) and West Virginia (11/29), with the victory over the Knights coming on Senior Day … able to play any of the interior positions, seeing time at both center and left guard.
2024 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- Did not see any game action as a sophomore … scout team member.
2023 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
- Did not see any game action as a redshirt freshman.
2022 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Redshirt season … did not see any game action.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Aledo High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex … played for one of the most dominant high school programs in the state of Texas … program claimed the Class 5A Division II state title his freshman, sophomore and junior seasons.
- Member of the state champion team in 2020 … the Bearcats were a perfect 12-0 his senior year before falling to eventual state champion South Oak Cliff in the regional finals … honorable mention All-District 5-5A selection as a senior.
- Recognized for work in the classroom as a first-team Academic All-State selection by the THSCA … two-sport athlete also competing in basketball … involved in Young Life, FCA and National Honor Society.

- Jurrien Loftin … son of Trey and Jennifer Loftin … older brother of Meagan, Patrice and Darren.
- Hobbies include faith, hunting, fishing and the outdoors.
- Earned his degree in economics at Texas Tech ... was pursuing his master's degree and a doctorate from Texas Tech during final season of eligibility.
