Attended the University of Houston as a true freshman out of high school in 2021 … redshirt season … did not see any action with the Cougars … joined the Red Raiders prior to the start of 2022 spring practices.
HIGH SCHOOL
Local product out of Lubbock Cooper High School ... helped lead the Pirates to the Class 5A Division II state semifinals, which marked the furthest Cooper had advanced in school history ... Pirates were the District 3-5A champions ... threw for 1,332 yards and 13 touchdowns with only four interceptions as a senior, while rushing for 411 yards and four more scores.
