2023 SEASON (SUPER SENIOR)

2022 SEASON (SENIOR)
Considered one of Texas Techโs most valuable standouts in his first season as a Red Raider โฆ earned the starting job at center prior to the season and ultimately started in all 13 games โฆ shared the team high with 1,107 offensive snaps, according to Pro Football Focus, alongside fellow offensive lineman Caleb Rogers, all at center โฆ surrendered only two sacks and 38 total pressures in 665 opportunities, finishing with a 97.0 blocking efficiency percentage โฆ did not allow a sack over the first seven games of the season, which consisted of 403 opportunities โฆ received highest grade of the season against Kansas (11/12), finishing at 66.0 by PFF โฆ the website credited him with a 70.0 or higher pass blocking grade in four different games โ Murray State (9/3), Houston (9/10), West Virginia (10/22) and Kansas โฆ AWARDS AND HONORS: garnered honorable mention All-Big 12 accolades by the conference coaches โฆ SCHOLARSHIP ANNOUNCEMENT: placed on scholarship by head coach Joey McGuire during the Red Raidersโ first team meeting upon returning from the TaxAct Texas Bowl.
