2021 SEASON (SENIOR)
Continued to show his versatility during final collegiate season as a Red Raider … battled injuries late in the season, limiting him to nine games with one start at linebacker … switched his jersey number from No. 41 to No. 24 for his final season … credited with appearing in 108 snaps on defense as well as 63 on special teams … made six tackles on the year, including a sack, to go along with two quarterback hurries … tackle count was compiled over three games with one stop against Houston (9/4), three against Florida International (9/18) and two at Kansas (10/16) … the Red Raiders were a combined 3-0 in those three games … one of his tackles against FIU went for a 15-yard sack, the first of his career … also had a quarterback hurry against Kansas as well as Oklahoma State (11/20) … returned for the final two games of the regular season against Oklahoma State and Baylor (11/27) after missing three-straight games due to injury … also held out of the AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Mississippi State (12/28) … AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized on the Academic All-Big 12 first team for work in the classroom.
2020 SEAS0N (SENIOR)
Made an immediate impact on defense and on special teams as possibly the most versatile player on the Red Raider roster … played a variety of roles on defense with the ability to move to any linebacker spot as well as the Spur position … appeared in all 10 games on the year with six starts overall … recorded 32 tackles, including 4.5 that went for a loss … ranked sixth on the team in tackles for a loss … added three quarterback hurries, a pass breakup and a forced fumble … recorded at least two tackles in every game and had five or more twice … came into the season with only one multi-tackle performance in his career … posted at least one tackle for a loss in five different games as well … continued to be a presence on special teams, a trend that began while at Duke … got his hands on one of Texas Tech’s three blocked kicks on the season … all six of his starts came during Big 12 play against the likes of Texas, Iowa State, West Virginia, Oklahoma, TCU and Kansas … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: recorded two tackles in his Red Raider debut against Houston Baptist (9/12) … snapped his previous career high for tackles with five two weeks later in the Big 12 opener versus Texas (9/26) … contest began a four-game streak with a tackle for loss … performance against Texas also included a blocked punt in the second quarter, the first by a Red Raider since Thomas Leggett got his hands on one at Iowa State in 2018 … marked the first blocked kick of his career … combined for nine tackles in the next three games with two coming at Kansas State (10/3), four at Iowa State (10/10) and three in the win over West Virginia (10/24) … had a tackle for a loss in all three of those games along with his first quarterback hurry of the season against the Wildcats … snapped his career high with six tackles against Oklahoma (10/31), while adding a quarterback hurry … posted three tackles in two of the final three games of the season, both wins, against Baylor (11/14) and Kansas (12/5) … had two tackles, including a shared stop for a loss, in between those two games at Oklahoma State (11/28) … outing versus Kansas also included his final quarterback hurry for the season and his lone pass breakup … SENIOR DECISION: elected to return to Texas Tech for one final season of eligibility as granted by the NCAA.

Transferred to Texas Tech after earning his degree in four years at Duke ... concluded Duke career with eight tackles over 25 career games played ... previously played for the Blue Devils under current Texas Tech secondary coach Derek Jones ... 2019 SEASON (JUNIOR): saw action in 11 games in his final season at Duke … missed only Duke’s game at Virginia on the season … tallied seven tackles, including a team-high five on special teams … recorded his first career multi-tackle performance in his final outing as a Blue Devil in the regular-season finale versus Miami (11/30) … totaled 237 snaps overall … presented the Bill Keziah Award following the season, which is awarded annually to the team’s most outstanding special teams performer … 2018 SEAS0N (SOPHOMORE): became a regular on special teams, appearing in the final 11 games of the season … lone tackle of the season came at Baylor (9/15) … on the field for approximately 100 snaps ... 2017 SEAS0N (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN): appeared in three games as a redshirt freshman … inserted for the N.C. Central, Northwestern and Georgia Tech games … combined for 21 snaps on the field ... 2016 SEAS0N (FRESHMAN): redshirt season … enrolled early at Duke in January 2016 in order to participate in spring practices.

Graduate of St. Luke’s Preparatory School in New Canaan, Conn. … played his final two seasons at St. Luke’s after previously attending Roy C. Ketchum High School near his hometown of Lagrange, N.Y. as a freshman and sophomore … earned USA Today High School All-USA Connecticut Team accolades as a senior … recorded 81 tackles and a pair of interceptions during final season … previously posted 65 tackles, a sack, five interceptions and three forced fumbles as a junior … performance helped push St. Luke’s to a 7-2 record and a share of the Fairchester Athletic Association title … totaled 29 tackles and an interception during his sophomore season in New York … garnered Class AA, League 1 All-Conference accolades as a running back that season as well … also lettered in baseball during prep career … helped Roy C. Ketchum to the New York State regional championship, earning All-Section 1 honorable mention and All-County honors … tabbed a three-star prospect by Rivals, Scout, ESPN and 247Sports … rated as the No. 56 in the country by Scout.
