2021 SEASON (SUPER SENIOR)
Turned into Texas Tech’s primary starter at left tackle during his final collegiate season … started and played in 12 of 13 games overall, missing only the Kansas road trip midway through the season … utilized for 708 total snaps, which ranked fourth on the offense … graded out at 60.8 overall according to Pro Football Focus with a 69.9 grade in pass protection … best grade of the season came in the win at West Virginia (10/2), finishing at 73.5 overall and 78.6 in pass protection … also graded out at 70.0 in the win over Florida International (9/18), which included a 79.1 grade in pass blocking … received a 70.0 or higher grade in pass protection six times overall with similar performances against TCU (75.4), Iowa State (88.7), Baylor (83.8) and Mississippi State (73.5) in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl … closes collegiate career having played in 38 games at the FBS level with 31 starts … AWARDS AND HONORS: honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by the conference coaches.
