2020 SEAS0N (SENIOR)
Appeared in nine games in his final season as a Red Raider … missed only the win over West Virginia (10/24) … listed as a backup at tight end and was once again a regular on special teams … made two tackles on the year, which came at TCU (11/7) … also returned one kick a few weeks earlier at Iowa State, returning it back two yards … AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized on the Academic All-Big 12 first team for the second-consecutive year … SENIOR DECISION: made decision following the season to not utilize a final year of eligibility as granted by the NCAA and will instead join the Texas Tech staff as a student assistant coach.
2019 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Remained a consistent contributor to the special teams units in his third season as a Red Raider … transitioned to more of a tight end role on offense as well … appeared in all 12 games overall … collected one tackle, which came in the season opener versus Montana State (8/31) … awarded a scholarship during preseason camp AWARDS AND HONORS: earned first team Academic All-Big 12 honors.
2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Developed into a key option at fullback as a sophomore … appeared in six games with two starts before a late injury ended his season … contributed both offensively and on special teams … lone catch on the year went for a one-yard gain against Houston (9/15) … saw action in four Big 12 games against Oklahoma State (9/22), West Virginia (9/29), TCU (10/11) and Kansas (10/20).
2017 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Missed the entire season with an injury … did not play.
2016 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Redshirt season … scout team member … did not play ... moved to a blocking back role during spring practice in addition to his role as a deep snapper.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Keller High School in Keller, Texas ... was a tight end and blocking back for most of his career before moving to linebacker as a senior ... was the team’s long snapper throughout his prep career ... recorded 73 tackles, including four for a loss as a senior ... also posted three sacks and an interception ... was a first team All-District 5-6A honoree as a junior ... earned first team All-District 5-6A accolades again as a senior ... successful in the classroom as well as a second team Academic All-State recipient ... high school coach: Carl Stralow ... father, Chris Killian, was the school’s defensive line coach.
