Quickly impressed as only a true freshman … earned the No. 2 spot at tight end coming out of preseason camp … appeared in all 10 games with one start in the season finale against Kansas … one of four true freshmen to start in a game, joining offensive lineman Caleb Rodgers and wide receivers Ja’Lynn Polk and Myles Price … caught six passes on the year for 42 yards … was also frequently utilized on special teams … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: made Red Raider debut in the season opener versus Houston Baptist (9/12) … recorded his first career catch for seven yards a few weeks later at Kansas State (10/3) … had his best game through the air at Iowa State (10/10), hauling in three passes for 23 yards … final two catches of the year came at TCU (11/7) and Oklahoma State (11/28) … two catches resulted in gains of five and seven yards … earned the start at tight end in the season finale at Kansas (12/5).
