2019 OUTDOOR
Has jumped in five meets and ran in one ... was All-Big 12 in both the long and triple jump, with a top finish of fourth after going 25'-6.75" (7.79m) in the long jump ... placed 10th in the triple ... top jump of the season was a wind-aided 26'-5.75" (8.07m) that briefly made him the world leader ... also went over eight meters at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout, turning in a 26'-4.25" (8.03m) ... won the long jump at Texas A&M's The Reveille with a top leap of 26'-0.75" (7.94m) ... helped the Tech 4x100 relay team win the Fearless Champion Open with a time of 39.94.
2019 INDOOR
Has jumped in five meets to begin his senior season … went for 26’-0.25” (7.94m) in the long jump in his first meet of the year, the Corky Classic, to tie for seventh in program history … marked 52’-4.75” (15.97m) in his first triple of the season at the Red Raider Invite … picked up his first win of the year in the long jump at the Texas Tech Shootout … grabbed 10 points at the Big 12 Championships with a third-place finish in the long jump and fourth-place finish in the triple jump.
2018 OUTDOOR
Competed in eight meets as a junior ... began his year running with the 4x100 squad, leading them to a second-place finish at the ACU Wes Kittley Invite ... placed second in his first long jump trial of the season with a wind-aided 8.16m/26-9.25 at the Texas Relays ... helped lead the 4x100 team to a win at the Sun Angel Classic and the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout ... earned Tech eight points in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with a leap of 7.91m/25-11.5 ... qualified for the NCAA West Preliminary Round in the 4x100 (fifth place), long jump (second) and triple jump (16th) ... became a First Team All-American in the long jump after leaping a wind-aided 7.90m/25-11 at the NCAA Championships ... also was Second Team with the 4x100 squad that took 13th.
2018 INDOOR
Competed in six meets ... began his year with a win in the long jump at the Corky Classic with an 8.03m/26-4.25 and also set a PR in the 60m with a 6.83 ... won the triple jump at the Red Raider Invitational and Texas Tech Shootout, the latter marking a PR with a distance of 16.30m/53-5.75 ... took second in the long jump at the Big 12 Championships with a 7.93m/26-0.25 ... became a two-time All-American at the NCAA Championships with a third-place finish in the long jump and ninth-place finish in the triple jump.
2017 OUTDOOR
Took part in seven meets during the outdoor season ... made waves at the 90th Clyde Littlefield Texas Relays with his lifetime-best 8.14m/26-8.50 wind-legal leap for first at the meet and a No. 2 school record ... this long jump mark put Brown on the world map at No. 3, leading the nation by over half a foot ... on home turf he he had an outdoor-best clearance in the high jump at 2.12m/6-11.50 ... had two Big 12 Athlete of the Week honors after his performances at Texas Relays and the TCU Horned Frog Invitational ... at the Horned Frog Invitational, Brown cleared 8.30m/27-2.75 (+4.8) to claim the meet crown and wind-aided school record and position him first in the world in wind-aided long jump marks ... Brown also kicked up his wind-legal long jump mark to 8.25m/27-1(+3.9) to boost his already nation leading mark ... Brown's season was cut short due to injury at the Big 12 Outdoor Championship.
2017 INDOOR
Participated in seven meets during the indoor slate ... garnered second team All-American honors in all three jumping events ... third athlete in NCAA history and first in Big 12 history to qualify for indoor nationals in three jumping events ... scored 18 of Tech's 99.5 points at the Big 12 Indoor Track & Field Championship ... claimed the Big 12 long jump crown for the second year in a row with an indoor-best 7.89m/25-10.75 leap ... claimed the bronze medal in the triple jump with an indoor-best 16.06m/52-8 jump ... had a lifetime-best in the high jump at the New Mexico Classic with a 2.20m/7-2.50 final clearance ... Ranked No. 1 in long jump and long jump and No. 2 in high jump in the Mountain Region ... hit 7.41m/ 24-6.50 in the long jump at the first day indoor nationals ... during the last day of nationals competition, Brown had marks of 15.42m/50-7.25 (TJ) and 2.10m/6-10.75 (HJ) to claim his second and third second team honors for the 2017 season ... had a total of eight top-three finishes during his seven meets, four of which were first-place.
2016 SUMMER
Qualified for the 2016 IAAF World U20 Championships & will represent Team USA in the triple jump in Poland ... never dropped below second during the competition, opening with a leading mark of 15.62m/51-3, which would've kept him at No. 2 through the end of the event ... improved with his second jump to 15.90m/52-2 to reclaim a lead, ensuring a great triple jump battle between him and Armani Wallace ... broke though with a monster PR on his fifth attempt, landing in the sand at 16.35m/53-7.75 to earn the title and punch his ticket to Worlds ... his jump is also tied for the fourth-best mark in school history and is the best mark by a Red Raider since 2013.
Finished 14th in the long jump & 18th in the triple jump the 2016 NCAA Outdoor Championships ... hit a mark of 7.43m/24-4.5 in the long jump and 15.22m/49-11.25 in the triple jump in Eugene, Oregon, earning second team (LJ) & honorable mention (TJ) All-America nods ... notched a personal-best 16.05m/52-8 in the triple jump on his second attempt to finish seventh overall ... it was the No. 8 jump all-time at Texas Tech ... is the fifth Red Raider to qualify in the event ... the only freshman in either region to advance in the triple jump ... jumped to 7.51m/24-7.75 to grab the final long jump qualifying spot ... marked back-to-back years a Red Raider long jumper has qualified ... first Red Raider to ever advance in both the long & triple jump events in the same season ... entered the 2016 NCAA West Preliminaries with marks of 7.83m/25-8.25 in the men's long jump (No. 10) and 15.79m/51-9.75 in the men's triple jump (No. 16) ... claimed the Big 12 Outdoor Championship in the long jump after a leap of 7.75m/25-5.25 on his first attempt of the competition ... the win gave Texas Tech three of the last four Big 12 outdoor titles in the event ... also at the meet, he notched a PR in the triple jump, finishing second at 15.79m/51-9.75 ... has finished first in every long jump competition this outdoor season ... at the Texas Tech Open (March 24), he leaped to the ninth-best mark in school history at 7.83m/25-8.25 ... has recorded personal-bests in three of his last four triple jump events ... cleared as high as 2.06m/6-9 in the high jump this season, doing so at three different meets (Texas Tech Open, Texas Relays & Masked Rider Open).
2016 INDOOR
Competed in the long, triple and high jump events in his first season of his collegiate career ... exploded onto the scene with a second-place finish in the long jump at the Arkansas Invitational with a mark of 7.55m/24-9.25 on Jan. 15 ... won the triple jump at that meet with a leap of 15.38m/50-5.5 ... those marks would be his indoor best, as he would also clear 2.04m/6-8.25 in the high jump at the Texas A&M Quadrangular on Jan. 23 ... represented Texas Tech at the Big 12 Indoor Championships, finishing 11th in the long jump at 7.03m/23-0.75.

2013 UIL 3A State Champion in the triple jump ... 2013 3A State runner-up in the long jump ... 2013 3A State fourth-place finisher in the high jump ... graduated from Hirschi High School in Wichita Falls, Texas ... came to Texas Tech as the No. 3 ranked state high jumper (No. 6 U.S.), No. 5 state long jumper (No. 16 U.S.) and No. 4 state triple jumper (No. 20 U.S.).
