Competed in a total of 10 meets during the outdoor season, including the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship and the NCAA West Preliminaries ... opened up the season with a 15.21m/49-11 launch in the shot put, allowing her the first-place finish at the UTSAย Invitational ... continued with second-place finishes at the Wes Kittley Invitational and Sun Angel Classic ... her next personal-best was at the Big 12 Track & Field Championship where she hit her career-best 15.44m/50-8 mark in the shot put, qualifying her for the preliminaries ... at the prelims, Onwukaife closed out her season in 40thย with a throw of 14.56m/47-9.25.ย
