2019 OUTDOOR
Has thrown combinations of the discus, shot put and hammer in eight meets this season ... claimed the school record in the discus after launching a 208'-2" (63.45m) at the Corky/Crofoot Shootout ... did so after throwing a what was then fifth in program history 203'-3" (61.96m) at the Michael Johnson Invitational ... began his year with a throw of 207'-10" (63.34m) to claim the #1 spot in the nation, a standing he held until conference weekend ... successfully defended his outdoor Big 12 Championship in the discus ... also hit the podium in the shot put, in which he placed fifth.
2018 OUTDOOR
Threw in ten meets for the Red Raiders … started season with second-place performances in the shot put and discus at the UTSA Invitational … first win of the spring came in the discus at the ACU Wes Kittley Invite thanks to a PR 59.64m/195’-8” … won the discus at the Michael Johnson Invitational … took runner-up in the shot put at the Texas Tech Masked Rider Invite … won the discus at the Big 12 Championships … took ninth at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
2018 INDOOR
Threw in eight meets … came away with three wins in first winter campaign with Tech … took second in the shot put at the Red Raider Invitational and Texas Tech Classic … won the shot put at the Texas Tech Open and recorded a weight throw PR of 19.18m/62’-11.25” at the Texas Tech Open won both the shot put and weight throw at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier … scored in both the weight throw (sixth place) and shot put (seventh) at the Big 12 Championships.

Placed sixth in the shot put at the Lone Star Conference Indoor Championships with a mark of 15.24 meters. He threw a personal best mark of 15.93 meters to fourth at the New Mexico Cherry & Silver Invite. That mark was the sixth best in the conference and 39th in the nation. He threw over 15 meters in every meet he competed in. Was named LSC Field Athlete of the Week on Jan. 27.
2016 OUTDOOR
Became the first WT athlete in program history to win a national title with his throw of 189-4 (57.71m) in the discus. After entering the championships ranked 13th in the nation he unleashed the sixth-best throw in school history on his fourth attempt to bring home the title. He also earned USTFCCCA First Team All-American honors for his performance in the discus after being named USTFCCCA All-Region before the championships. He finished runner-up in the discus at the Lone Star Conference Championships throwing 164-8 (50.19m). He also finished eighth in the shot put and 10th in the hammer throw.
