Ran in ten meets for the Red Raiders … helped 4x100 team finish second while taking third in the 100m at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational … placed fifth in the 100m at the Michael Johnson Invitational … ran a PR of 21.41 in the 200m at the Texas Tech Corky/Crofoot Shootout … helped bring a 4x100 title to Lubbock at the Big 12 Championships while also recording a PR of 10.55 in the 100m … ran with the 4x100 team at the NCAA Outdoor Championships.
2018 INDOOR
Ran in five meets … placed 11th in the 60m at the Corky Classic … ran a 60m PR of 6.86 to place third at the Texas Tech Classic … placed 13th in the 60m at the Texas Tech Matador Qualifier.
2017 OUTDOOR
Latson ran in nine meets in his outdoor slate, making an appearance at the NCAA Division I West Preliminaries ... Latson began his season at the UTSA Invitational where he secured a third-place finish in the 100m dash (10.84) and a sixth-place finish in the 200m dash (21.92) ... Latson then improved both times at the Wes Kittley Invitational where he ran a 10.80 (100m) and 21.75 (200m) ... at the West Texas Classic and Multis, another stride was made in the 100m as Latson knocked down his time to 10.63 ... at the Horned Frog Invitational Latson hit his third wind-legal season-best 100m race in 10.58 for 10th ... Latson hit his season peak in the 100m at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championship where he ran a 10.46 (3.8) 100m for 12th ... All-Big 12 honors were garnered in his 4x100-meter relay contribution, where the team finished fourth overall with their 40.84 run ... with his qualifying 4x100 relay run, Latson moved on to compete at the NCAA Division I West Preliminaries where they clocked a 40.09 run for 19th to end the season.
2017 INDOOR
Competed in three meets during the 2017 indoor season ... opened up competition at the Texas A&M Aggie Invitational where he ran in the 60m (7.02) and 200m (22.19) dash finishing 14th in the finals in the 200 ... Latson then went on to compete at the New Mexico Classic where he improved to a 6.94 mark in the 60m to secure 12th place in the finals ... also ran the 200m in New Mexico, clocking a 22.94 run for 38th ... Latson closed out his indoor season at the Dunamis Sports Group College Classic in Dallas, Texas, with a 6.95 60m run.
2016 OUTDOOR
Competed in six meets for the Red Raiders in his debut track & field season... improved his 100m mark from a 16th place opening at the TCU invitational to a third place finish at the ACU Wes Kittley Invitational... finished 19th in the 100m at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships with a personal-best time of 10.70... also competed in the 200m and 4x100 at the Big 12 Outdoor Track & Field Championships where he secured a 16th place finish and took part in a sixth place finish.
