2017 SEASON (SENIOR)
Appeared in two games during final season as a Red Raider … saw action in the season opener against Eastern Washington (9/2) and then at Kansas (10/7) later in the year … served as primary backup at center ... AWARDS AND HONORS ... recognized on the Academic All-Big 12 second team.
2016 SEASON (SENIOR)
Started all 12 games for the Red Raiders at center … provided a young offensive line with veteran leadership in the middle … moved to center during preseason camp after spending most of the 2015 campaign at right guard … helped pave the way for a Red Raider offense that ended the year as the nation’s leader in passing offense and total offense … the Tech offense also ranked among the nation’s leaders in third-down conversion percentage (third), first downs offense (third) and scoring offense (fifth) … was granted an extension by the NCAA that will allow him to continue his eligibility for the 2017 season ... AWARDS AND HONORS ... named to the Academic All-Big 12 first team ... was one of five conference student-athletes nominated with a perfect 4.0 GPA.

Appeared in 10 games in 2015 with six starts, all at right guard ... made his first career start as a Red Raider against Sam Houston State (9/5) ... part of a Texas Tech offensive line that surrendered just 27 sacks in 2015 and ranked among the top units in the country for least tackles for a loss allowed ... saw most action of the year since season opener against Baylor (10/3) ... returned to the starting lineup against Iowa State (10/10) ... also earned starts against Kansas (10/17), Oklahoma (10/24), Oklahoma State (10/31) and West Virginia (11/7).
