2016 SEASON (SENIOR)
One of four captains named for his senior season … started in all 12 games at an assortment of positions along the offensive line … his 12 starts marked the most in his career … made eight starts at left guard and then two at both right tackle and left tackle … started each of the first six games of the season at left guard before moving over to right tackle against Oklahoma (10/22) … other start at right tackle came at Oklahoma State (11/12) … shifted to left tackle for the final two games of the season against Iowa State (11/19) and Baylor (11/25) … ended his Red Raider career with 35 starts along the offensive line … helped pave the way for a Red Raider offense that ended the year as the nation’s leader in passing offense and total offense … the Tech offense also ranked among the nation’s leaders in third-down conversion percentage (third), first downs offense (third) and scoring offense (fifth) … AWARDS AND HONORS … honorable mention All-Big 12 selection by conference coaches.
2015 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Made the move to right tackle during training camp and made 11 starts ... part of a Red Raider offensive line that allowed just 27 sacks and 5.2 tackles for losses allowed on the season ... started in 18 of Texas Tech’s last 20 games entering his senior season ... SEASON HIGHLIGHTS ... returned from an injury at West Virginia ... made first start of the season at right guard against Kansas State ... started at right guard two times at Texas and vs. LSU in the Advoare V100 Texas Bowl.
2014 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Named to the ESPN All-Big 12 Underclassman Team ... played in 10 games with nine starts ... started the final eight games of the season on the offensive line ... made eight starts at right guard and one start at left guard… paved the way for Tech’s first 1,000-yard rusher (DeAndre Washington) since 1998 ... team rushed for 1,836 yards – its most since 1998 (2,219) ... offensive line allowed just 13 sacks.
2013 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Played in 11 games with three starts ... started the final three games of the season… made starts against No. 4 Baylor (11/16) and Texas (11/28) at right guard and started against No. 14 Arizona State (12/30) at left guard in the National University Holiday Bowl at Qualcomm Stadium in San Diego.
