2018 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Was one of four quarterbacks to play during the 2018 campaign … appeared in two games during his sophomore season … completed his only pass attempt against Lamar (9/8), finding Erik Ezukamna for a 44-yard touchdown strike … marked his first career pass attempt … also saw the field against Kansas (10/20) … member of the travel squad for every road game.
Made collegiate debut late in Texas Tech’s victory over Kansas … did not have any pass attempts in his lone series leading the Red Raider offense … traveled with the Red Raiders to several additional conference games during the season as well as the Birmingham Bowl … served as Texas Tech’s scout team quarterback throughout the year.

Attended Roosevelt High School in Acuff, Texas ... was a two-way player for the Eagles at quarterback and safety ... played in a similar passing offense with the Eagles ... was a second team All-District 1-3A selection as a senior ... found success in the classroom as well as an Academic All-State second team honoree.
