Granted a waiver by the NCAA for an extra year of eligibility in the sport of football ... officially joined the Red Raiders at the start of preseason camp ... did not see any game action throughout 2022 season ... key member of the scout team and praised by the coaching staff for his role during the year ... 2023 NFL DRAFT: received a mini-camp by the Pittsburgh Steelers soon after the 2023 NFL Draft after an impressive performance at the Texas Tech Pro Day event.

One of the most decorated throwers as a three-year member of the Texas Tech track and field program ... arrived at Tech in the fall of 2019 after two seasons (2018-19) at Texas A&M ... finished his career with the Red Raiders as a three-time Big 12 Champion ... claimed his first title in the weight throw in 2021, then claimed the discus title later on that outdoor season and defended his weight throw title in 2022 ... finished third in 2022 at the NCAA Indoor Championships in the weight throw, claiming first team All-American honors in the process ... registered all of Tech's top-10 marks in the weight throw and eight of the top-10 hammer throw marks in school history by the end of the 2022 indoor season ... holds the school record in the hammer throw (211 ft) and weight throw (73'-7.25") ... recorded bench presses of 440 pounds and squat lifts of 875 pounds during collegiate career ... full track bio.
