- Appeared in eight games with one start during his lone season as a Red Raider … battled injuries leading into the season, missing all of spring practices before being cleared during the summer … held out of the final three games of the regular season due to injury.
- Considered the backup to Caleb Douglas at the “Y” wide receiver position entering the season … caught eight passes for 123 yards overall with a reception in five different games … credited with playing in 87 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus with an additional 20 snaps on punt returns.
- Best performance came against North Texas (9/14) with three catches for 43 yards, including a 32-yard grab from Will Hammond that nearly found the end zone … made his first collegiate reception on a four-yard haul the previous week at Washington State (9/7) … set up Texas Tech’s opening touchdown with a 38-yard strike from Behren Morton at Arizona (10/5) … the Red Raiders followed with a Tahj Brooks three-yard touchdown scamper on the next play to take an early 7-0 lead … had two catches for 38 yards versus Baylor (10/19), including a highlight-worthy grab over a defender that resulted in a 26-yard gain.

- Attended Lake Belton High School in Temple, Texas … easily among the top prospects in the country as part of the 2024 class … led Lake Belton to the Class 5A playoffs each of his last two seasons.
- Two-time District 4-5A Division I MVP after accounting for more than 3,500 receiving yards and 57 receiving touchdowns over four prep seasons … explosive with the ball in his hands, averaging 19.1 yards per catch over his career … easily among the top athletes to run through Lake Belton, finishing with 202 catches for 3,868 receiving yards and 37 touchdowns through the air … also totaled 1,243 rushing yards and an additional 11 touchdowns over his career … one of the state’s top returners on special teams as well.
- On the receiving end of 70 catches for 1,353 yards and 18 touchdowns as a senior … previously went over the 1,000 yard mark as a junior in 2022, finishing with 1,198 yards and 14 touchdowns through the air on 65 catches … was a third team All-State honoree by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA).
- Began his career with 22 catches for 466 yards and six touchdowns as a freshman in 2020, which also featured 655 rushing yards and six touchdowns after averaging 16.0 yards per carry … followed with 45 catches for 851 receiving yards and nine touchdowns as only a sophomore in 2021, placing him on many recruiting radars.
- Named one of 10 finalists for the Mr. Texas Football High School Player of the Year Award presented by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football … one of two Red Raider signees to be named as a finalist, joining quarterback Will Hammond … selected to participate in the Under Armour Next All-America Game in Orlando.
- Recognized for his work in the classroom as a member of the Academic All-District team.
- Standout for the Lake Belton track and field program, competing in the Class 5A state meet as a junior … part of a 4x200 meter relay that finished third in the state after a school record time of 1:25.59 … set the Lake Belton school records in the 100 meters (11.54), the 4x100 meter relay and the 4x200 meter relay.
- Consensus five-star recruit by the likes of Rivals, 247Sports, On3 and ESPN … highest-rated recruit to sign with Texas Tech during the internet ranking era and among the highest ever for the Red Raiders … ranked among the top-15 prospects in the country by all four publications … listed as the sixth-best player in the country by Rivals and at No. 9 overall by On3, No. 12 by ESPN and No. 15 by 247Sports … dubbed the top player in the state of Texas by Rivals, On3 as well as DCTF, and No. 2 overall by 247Sports and ESPN … listed as the No. 3 wide receiver nationally by both Rivals and On3 as well as fourth by 247Sports and ESPN.
- CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Alabama, Georgia, LSU, Michigan, Michigan State, Texas A&M, Texas, Notre Dame, Ohio State, Oklahoma, Oklahoma State, Baylor, TCU, Cincinnati, Colorado, Houston, among others ... joined the Texas Tech football program in the spring of 2024.
