Attended his hometown Madisonville High School in East Texas โฆ played on both sides of the ball for the Mustangs as a defensive back and an explosive wide receiver โฆ tabbed to join the Red Raiders as a wide receiver at the collegiate level โฆ was the unanimous District 11-4A Offensive MVP his senior season after catching 54 passes for 940 yards and 11 touchdowns โฆ helped push Madisonville to the Class 4A Division II area round โฆ the Mustangs previously advanced to the regional semifinal round his junior season in 2022 โฆ was an All-District 11-4A first-team honoree at three different positions: wide receiver, cornerback and kick returner โฆ credited with 31 tackles that season defensively to go along with 10 pass breakups and four interceptions in the secondary โฆ caught 31 passes for 800 yards and 10 touchdowns, while also returning a pair of kickoffs for touchdowns โฆ made his debut at the varsity level in 2021 as a District 10-4A first-team selection at defensive back โฆ had 21 tackles, seven pass breakups and an interception as a sophomore to go along with six catches for 101 yards โฆ found the end zone three times, twice on kickoff returns and the other as part of his lone interception โฆ dual-sport athlete as a member of the Madisonville track and field program โฆ competed in the 4x100, 4x200 and 4x400 relays as well as high jump during prep career, advancing to the regional meet all three seasons on the team โฆ was the first member of the 2024 class to commit to Texas Tech โฆ consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, ESPN, 247Sports and On3 โฆ ranked as high as No. 91 among wide receivers nationally by ESPN and No. 93 by On3 โฆ graduated early, Dec. 20, 2023, and joined the Red Raiders in the spring of 2024 โฆ CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Ole Miss, Houston, North Texas, Tulsa, UNLV, Texas State and Sam Houston State.
