2022 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Put together his most-productive season to close his Red Raider career โฆ appeared in 12 games with five starts, missing only the road loss at TCU โฆ finished with 22 receptions for 344 yards, both easily career bests โฆ caught at least one pass in eight different games, including several highlight-worthy grabs โฆ one of four Red Raiders to record a 100-yard receiving outing โฆ credited with 433 offensive snaps according to Pro Football Focus, which ranked third among receivers and fifth among skill position players โฆ saw action on special teams as part of the kickoff return unit against both N.C. State and in the TaxAct Texas Bowl versus Ole Miss โฆ SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: combined for five catches over the first two games of the season, resulting in 24 yards versus Murray State (9/3) and 21 yards in the win over Houston (9/10) โฆ limited to one catch against both N.C. 2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in all 13 games as a sophomore as part of the two-deep rotation at the outside receiver position โฆ was also a contributor on several of Texas Techโs special teams units โฆ caught 11 passes for 141 yards and a touchdown overall โฆ majority of catches came during front half of the season โฆ eight of his 11 receptions overall were during Big 12 play โฆ SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: opened the season with one catch for six yards in the opener versus Houston (9/4) โฆ set a career high two weeks later with 36 receiving yards on two catches in the win over Florida International (9/18) โฆ performance included his second career touchdown reception, a 28-yard strike from Tyler Shough late in the second quarter โฆ marked the longest reception so far during his collegiate career โฆ hauled in two more catches for 18 yards the following week in the Big 12 opener at Texas (9/25) before snatching one grab for 17 yards at West Virginia (10/2) โฆ matched his career high for receiving yards and set a new career mark for receptions with three catches for 36 yards against TCU (10/9) โฆ final two catches on the year came versus Iowa State (11/13) โ a 10-yard haul โ and then in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl against Mississippi State, which was for an 18-yard gain.
2020 SEAS0N (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Earned a spot in the main receiver rotation as a redshirt freshman โฆ appeared in all 10 games with one start as an outside receiver โฆ listed in the two-deep as the backup at the โZโ receiver position โฆ caught eight passes on the year for 81 yards and a touchdown โฆ all eight receptions came over the course of four games, all in Big 12 play โฆ SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: made his first catch of his career in the season opener versus Houston Baptist (9/12), finishing with two receptions for 32 yards โฆ earned his first career start a few weeks later at Iowa State (10/10) โฆ caught a pair of passes in back-to-back weeks against West Virginia (10/24) and Oklahoma (10/31), totaling 17 yards and a touchdown in the win over the Mountaineers and 23 yards through the air versus the Sooners โฆ touchdown came on a 11-yard strike from Henry Colombi that gave the Red Raiders a 20-10 lead late in the first half โฆ marked the first touchdown of his young career โฆ finale two receptions of the year came at Oklahoma State (11/28), resulting in nine yards.
2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Redshirt season โฆ appeared in four games late in the season against Kansas (10/26), West Virginia (11/9), Kansas State (11/23) and Texas (11/29) โฆ mainly saw action on special teams.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Arlington High School in Arlington, Texas โฆ second team All-District selection as a junior โฆ caught 50 passes for 970 yards and 12 touchdowns in 11 games during his senior year โฆ also had 100 kickoff return yards to end his final season with 1,070 all-purpose yards โฆ had 22 receptions in five games his junior year โฆ scored five touchdowns during his junior campaign โฆ concluded his high school career with 17 touchdowns and a 17.7 yards-per-catch average โฆ three-star prospect according to 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals ...
