Did not see any game action as a junior after suffering a season-ending injury prior to the season โฆ elected to participate in Senior Day ceremonies and retire from football following the season.
2021 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Appeared in one game as a sophomore, which came late in the win at Kansas (10/16) โฆ marked his first game action of his Red Raider career โฆ member of the dress roster for majority of the season โฆ scout team member.
2020 SEAS0N (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Did not see any game action as a redshirt freshman โฆ member of the dress roster for majority of the season โฆ scout team member.
2019 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
Redshirt season โฆ missed duration of the season due to an injury suffered during preseason practices.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Whitehouse High School in Whitehouse, Texas โฆ garnered All-District 9-5A first team honors as a senior in 2018 โฆ caught 30 passes for 497 yards and six touchdowns as a senior โฆ ended his three-year career at Whitehouse with 113 receptions for 1,486 yards and 13 touchdowns โฆ best season came as a junior with 51 receptions for 620 yards and six touchdowns โฆ hauled in 40 catches for 521 yards and a pair of touchdowns as a sophomore in 2016, earning second team All-District honors in the process โฆ listed as a three-star prospect by 247Sports and ESPN and a two-star recruit by Rivals โฆ committed to Texas Tech after his sophomore season at Whitehouse.

Cameron Cantrell ... son of Kenny and Shelly Cantrell ... older brother, Dylan, was a star wide receiver for the Red Raiders from 2013-17 and was later selected in the sixth round of the 2018 NFL Draft by the Los Angeles Chargers ... a Sportย Management major at Texas Tech.ย
