2021 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Redshirt season ... appeared in three games overall after seeing playing time in wins over Florida International (9/18) and at Kansas (10/16) as well as the road trip to Oklahoma (10/30) โฆ made two tackles against Kansas, the first of his career โฆ scout team member.

Did not see game action as a true freshman โฆ scout team member.
HIGH SCHOOL
Attended Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas โฆ one of the top defensive line prospects coming out of the Texas Panhandle area โฆ garnered 2-6A first team all-district honors following both his junior and senior seasons โฆ posted 95 tackles as a senior, including 20.0 that went for a loss โฆ 11.0 of those were a result of a sack โฆ also forced a fumble, recovered a fumble and broke up two passes to lead Tascosa to the Class 6A Division II state quarterfinals โฆ marked the second-consecutive year the Rebels had played in the state quarterfinals โฆ recorded 85 total tackles, including 18.0 for a loss, with six sacks, and two fumble recoveries as a junior โฆ named to the Amarillo Globe-News Super Team following his junior year โฆ also competes on the schoolโs basketball and track and field teams โฆ three-star prospect according to 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals โฆ ranked as the No. 37 weak-side defensive end in the 2020 class by 247Sports โฆ CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Air Force, Baylor, Kansas, Purdue.ย
