2018 SEASON (SENIOR)
Turned in a solid senior season to boost the Red Raiders on the ground … finished as the fourth-leading rusher on the team after appearing in all 12 games with three starts … totaled 295 rushing yards and six touchdowns on the ground on 62 carries … averaged a team-leading 4.8 yards per carry ... second on the team in rushing touchdowns only to Ta’Zhawn Henry (8) … also caught three passes for 14 yards and returned one kick for nine yards ... SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: began the year by catching one pass for eight yards against Ole Miss (9/1) in Houston … had a productive day against Lamar, carrying a career-high 17 times for 69 yards and a pair of touchdowns … marked the second multi-touchdown game of his career … was part of a school-record eight rushing touchdowns in the rout over Lamar … closed non-conference play with six carries for three yards against Houston (9/15) … possibly the most-memorable performance of his career came in the rout of No. 15 Oklahoma State in Stillwater … recorded a career-high 130 rushing yards and two touchdowns versus the Cowboys, the majority of which came in the second half … found the end zone via a 27-yard scamper midway through the third quarter and a 17-yard run with only 4:29 remaining in regulation … had 12 yards on eight carries against West Virginia (9/29) … returned a kickoff for nine yards in limited playing time against TCU (10/11) … ran for 36 yards on two carries in a win at home against Kansas (10/20) … collected 38 yards on 12 carries and a touchdown in his final game as a Red Raider against Baylor (11/24) in Arlington … his seven-yard touchdown run provided the Red Raiders with a 17-14 lead early in the second quarter … AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized as an honorable mention selection for the Earl Campbell Player of the Week Award following his performance at Oklahoma State.
2017 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Appeared in 12 games as a junior either as a reserve in the back field or on special teams … rushed for 102 yards off 22 catches while also catching a pair of passes for 13 yards … member of several of Texas Tech’s special teams units … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS … opened the year with six carries for 30 yards against Eastern Washington (9/2) …. rushed for a season-high 31 yards at Kansas (10/7) … recorded a 12-yard reception at West Virginia (10/14), the longest catch of his career … carried twice for six yards versus Iowa State (10/21) and once for four yards against Baylor (11/11) … posted 25 yards on the ground off five carries against TCU (11/18) … closed the regular season with four carries for six yards at Texas (11/24).
2016 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
Became a regular for the Red Raider running game as a sophomore … played in 10 games with three starts before missing the final two games due to injury … was Texas Tech’s second-leading rusher after totaling 354 yards and three touchdowns on the ground off 64 carries … averaged 5.5 yards per carry which was the highest mark among running backs with at least 30 carries … his three touchdowns were tied with Da’Leon Ward for most among running backs as well … contributed to the passing game with seven receptions for 31 yards … totaled 27 yards on two kickoff returns, both of which came at Kansas State (10/8) … SEASON HIGHLIGHTS … carried five times for 28 yards in season opener versus Stephen F. Austin (9/3) … lone carry at Arizona State (9/10) went for five-yard touchdown … recorded his first career 100-yard performance against Louisiana Tech (9/17) … posted career highs with 16 carries for 123 yards and two touchdowns against the Bulldogs … marked the only time during the season where a Red Raider rushed for at least 100 yards … received 11 carries for 48 yards in Big 12 opener versus Kansas (9/29) … recorded 66 yards on the ground the following week at Kansas State (10/8) off 14 carries … escaped for a 31-yard run against the Wildcats, the second-longest rushing attempt by a Red Raider on the season … carried five times for 18 yards against West Virginia (10/15) … did not see significant action again in the back field until facing Oklahoma State (11/12) … had 11 carries for 65 yards against the Cowboys … had a career high two receptions against both Kansas and West Virginia.
2015 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN)
Played in all 13 games for the Red Raiders, mainly as a contributor on special teams ... also collected 73 rushing yards on the season, most of which came on his first-career touchdown, a 53-yard scamper against Iowa State (10/10).
