2018 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Did not play during the 2018 campaign due to NCAA transfer rules … scout team member.
Played for the 2016-17 seasons at Sam Houston State ... competed in four games as a sophomore in the backup role ... made five completions on 14 attempts, totaling 75 yards ... recorded a touchdown against Nicholls on Sept. 23 ... went 4-for-4 & 56 yards in the contest, with his longest pass going for 37 yards ... played in 10 games as backup quarterback for the Bearkats in 2016 ... threw for 51 yards and a score and rushed for 48 yards in season opener against Oklahoma Panhandle State (9/3) ... had 44 yards in the air at Houston Baptist (9/24) ... completed nine of 15 attempts for 54 yards in win over Texas Southern (10/29) ... came in late for short spurt against Chattanoga (10/3) to complete key first-down pass for 10 yards to help Kats advance to FCS Quarterfinals.

Went to Keller High School in Keller, Texas ... two-sport athlete who has passed for more than 4,500 yards the past two seasons ... two-time All-District 5-6A quarterback for coach Carl Starlow ... totaled 2,736 yards and 23 TDs in the air this fall ... completed 64 percent of his passes ... also exceled on the basketball court.
