Made the team prior to the season through an open try-out … appeared in three games in his first season either as a place kicker or kickoff specialist … made collegiate debut against Kansas (10/7) and then was also utilized against both Iowa State (10/21) and Kansas State (11/4) … connected on his first career field goal versus Kansas, nailing a successful 26-yarder … was 2-of-3 on extra-point attempts in the game as well … also kicked off a season-high five times against the Jayhawks, averaging 63.4 yards per kickoff for 317 yards total (two touchbacks) … missed on a 34-yard field goal attempt two weeks later against Iowa State … recorded final two kickoffs of the season against Kansas State, averaging 65.0 yards on each … ended the year averaging 63.9 yards per kickoff overall.
