2018 SEASON (SENIOR)
Appeared in all 12 games during his lone season as a Red Raider following his transfer โฆ made an immediate impact and added to the depth of a veteran defensive line unit โฆ appeared in all 12 games, while making three starts at nose tackle โฆ finished with 21 tackles on the year, including 2.5 that went for a loss ... SEASON HIGHLIGHTS: snagged a tackle in the season opener against Ole Miss (9/1) in his return to the city of Houston โฆ previously played at Rice University before transferring to Texas Tech โฆ applied pressure to the quarterback once and recorded four total tackles in a blowout win over Lamar (9/8) โฆ notched a season-high five tackles, including an assisted tackle for a loss, in the non-conference finale against Houston (9/15) โฆ tallied a tackle and a half for a loss and finished with two total tackles overall in a road win at Oklahoma State (9/22) to open Big 12 play โฆ racked up another two tackles and an assisted tackle for a loss the following week against West Virginia (9/29) โฆ posted one tackle in three-straight games versus Kansas (10/20), Iowa State (10/27) and Oklahoma (11/3) โฆ rounded out his collegiate career with three tackles on Senior Night versus Texas (11/10) and another tackle versus Baylor (11/24) in Arlington.ย
2017 SEASON (JUNIOR AT RICE)
Ended his career at Rice with 28 starts on the defensive line โฆ started in all 12 games as a junior, totaling 34 tackles, including 4.5 for a loss โฆ one of those came via a sack that resulted in a seven-yard loss โฆ notched two pass breakups and four quarterback hurries as well โฆ best performances of the season came via five tackles against both Pittsburgh (9/30) and Southern Miss (11/11) โฆ notched at least two tackles in 10 games on the year โฆ also had four tackles versus UTEP (9/9) and Army (10/7) โฆ elected to transfer following his junior season after earning his degree from Rice โฆ chose Texas Tech over offers from Kansas and West Virginia and interest from Alabama, Tennessee, TCU and others.

2016 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT RICE)
Appeared in 11-of-12 games as a sophomore with 10 starts โฆ led interior linemen with 31 tackles and 6.5 tackles for a loss โฆ finished tied for the team high with 3.5 sacks โฆ lone missed game of the year came against Baylor (9/16) โฆ recorded at least two tackles in eight games โฆ notched a season-high five tackles in the victory over Army (9/10) โฆ had five tackles in four different games: North Texas (9/24), UTSA (10/15), Louisiana Tech (10/29), Florida Atlantic (11/5) and Charlotte (11/12) โฆ either combined or had a solo tackle for a loss in seven different games.

2015 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT RICE)
Made six starts at defensive tackle while playing in all 12 games during debut season with the Owls โฆ recorded 22 tackles (16 solo) on the year, including 6.5 that went for a loss โฆ was second on the team in tackles for a loss and third with 2.5 sacks โฆ led the interior line for tackles for a loss and in sacks โฆ recorded a tackle for a loss in six of the last seven games of the season โฆ best performance on the year came versus Western Kentucky (10/3) with a season-high six tackles โฆ notched at least two tackles in five games โฆ posted four tackles against Florida Atlantic and then three against both Baylor (9/26) and UTSA ย (11/21) โฆ clinched the Florida Atlantic win with a sack of quarterback Jaquez Johnson on fourth down โฆ finished FAU game with season bests for sacks (1.5) and tackles for loss (2.0).

Attended Frisco Heritage High School in Frisco, Texas โฆ finished his career with 209 tackles, 17 sacks and 24 total tackles for a loss โฆ forced four fumbles and had two rushing touchdowns over his career โฆ earned first team All-District 9-4A honors as a senior in 2013 and was a second-team selection as a junior โฆ also lettered one season for the basketball program.
