- Appeared in three games as a sophomore, seeing time on the offensive line late in blowout victories over Oklahoma State (10/25), UCF (11/15) and at West Virginia (11/29) โฆ scout team member.
- Combined for 49 offensive snaps in those three wins with no pressures allowed, according to Pro Football Focus โฆ entered at right guard in all three games โฆ received a 74.8 overall grade by PFF for his performance versus the Cowboys, including a 74.2 grade in run blocking and a 74.9 grade as a pass blocker.
2024 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Appeared in two games along the offensive line against North Texas (9/14) and West Virginia (11/30) as a freshman โฆ credited with playing in eight snaps in the win over the Mean Green and 13 snaps against the Mountaineers โฆ graded out at 79.1 as a pass blocker by Pro Football Focus over those two games.

- Local product out of Lubbock Cooper High School โฆ one of the most-highly rated offensive linemen in West Texas in recent memory โฆ member of the Cooper football program that was 30-9 overall over his three seasons โฆ selected as a team captain his senior season.
- Three-time all-district honoree as a member of the 2-5A first team each of the last two seasons and the 3-5A second team as a sophomore in 2021 โฆ the Pirates reached the Class 5A Division I area round both his junior and senior seasons after previously advancing to the Division II state semifinals in 2021 โฆ trip to the fifth round of the playoffs his sophomore year marked the furthest the Pirates had made it in the playoffs in school history โฆ Cooper fell to the eventual state champion in each of his three seasons.
