- Tabbed one of Texas Techโs top players from a player-development standpoint at the end of the season โฆ won the backup position at left tackle out of preseason camp and stayed in that spot all season โฆ switched to an eligible number on occasion during the season to give the Red Raiders an extra blocking tight end.ย
- Appeared in eight games overall, making his collegiate debut in the season-opening win over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30) โฆ credited with 124 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, which awarded him a 75.0 or higher pass-blocking grade in four games โฆ listed with only one pressure allowed on the season over 39 pass-blocking opportunities.
- Took bulk of snaps at left tackle (103) with nine snaps at right tackle and 10 as a tight end โฆ played in 10 or more offensive snaps in six different games, including a season-high 26 in the victory over Kent State (9/6) โฆ had 20-plus offensive snaps in three other games with 22 versus both Oklahoma State (10/25) and UCF (11/15) as well as 25 at West Virginia (11/29).ย
