2024 SEASON (SENIOR)
Competed for Texas Tech’s place kicking job during first half of the season while maintaining his role as the kickoff specialist … appeared in 12 of 13 games overall, missing only the road trip to Oklahoma State (11/23) late in the season … was 3-for-4 overall on field goal attempts, while going a perfect 12-for-12 on PAT tries … averaged 61.9 yards per kickoff with 50 of his 78 of his attempts going for a touchback … opponents only averaged 15.57 yards per kickoff return against him, which ranked sixth in the FBS and second in the Big 12 at the end of the season … successful field goals came via a 41-yard attempt versus Abilene Christian (8/31), a 40-yard try against Arizona State (9/21) and a 38-yarder against Cincinnati (9/28) … lone miss was on a 50-yard attempt at TCU (10/26) midway through the second quarter … made one of the top plays by a specialist in college football during the season earlier in the second quarter, taking a pitch near the goal line into the end zone for a four-yard touchdown … one of the best tackling kickers in college football with four stops on the year, including two in the season opener against Abilene Christian … also had tackles via special teams at TCU and versus Colorado (11/9) … received an 82.9 overall grade as a kickoff specialist by Pro Football Focus … opponents returned only 24.1 of his kickoff attempts, which ranked fourth in the Big 12 according to PFF … AWARDS AND HONORS: recognized for his work in the classroom as an Academic All-Big 12 first team honoree and an Academic All-District Team selection by the College Sports Communicators (CSC).
2023 SEASON (JUNIOR)
Served as Texas Tech’s primary kickoff specialist during first season as a Red Raider … appeared in all 12 games during the regular season, missing only the Radiant Technologies Independence Bowl victory over Cal (12/16) due to injury … booted 40 of his 64 kickoffs on the season for a touchback (62.5 percent) … averaged 68.1 yards per kickoff attempt according to Pro Football Focus, which ranked 19th in the FBS … website graded him out at 83.6 overall for the season, ranking third in the Big 12 and 29th nationally … made his lone tackle as part of kickoff duty in the win over Houston (9/30).

Joined the Red Raiders after two seasons at UAB ... will have two seasons of eligibility remaining plus a redshirt available ... served as UAB’s primary kickoff specialist each of his first two seasons with the Blazers ... 2022 SEASON (SOPHOMORE): appeared in 13 games … was the kickoff kicker for the team … sent 42 of his 74 kickoffs for touchbacks for 4,524 yards… recorded three tackles … 2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN): saw action in all 13 games this season as the kickoff man ... recorded 76 kickoffs for a total of 4,478 yards with 41 touchbacks and a 58.9 kickoff average … 2020 SEASON (FRESHMAN): did not see action during the COVID-19 shortened season.

Attended Andalusia High School in his hometown of Andalusia, Alabama ... named Alabama Sports Writers 4A First-Team All-State … had 147 total kickoffs for 7,106 yards with 17 touchbacks in his high school career … totaled 144 kicking points; 114 PATs, 10 FGs ... was also a tight end throughout prep career in addition to his kicking duties … was a dual sport athlete in high school, having also been a member of the soccer team.
