- Redshirt season … scout team member … praised as one of Texas Tech’s top developmental players of the season.
- Appeared in each of the last four games either on the defensive line or on Texas Tech’s field goal block unit … made his collegiate debut versus Colorado (11/9) and proceeded to see time at Oklahoma State (11/23) and versus both West Virginia (11/30) and Arkansas (12/27) in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl.
