- Redshirt season … appeared in two games as a true freshman, which came during non-conference play versus Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30) and Kent State (9/6) … scout team member.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Lancaster High School, a 6A program located in the Dallas-Fort Worth Metroplex … played both sides of the ball as a wide receiver and defensive back for Lancaster … recruited to play defensive back at Texas Tech and projected at safety, specifically … was also a linebacker and kicker while at Lancaster.
- Helped push Lancaster to the second round of the 6A Division II playoffs as a senior, defeating Harker Heights, 40-35, in the first round before falling to Longview in the second round … made a key interception in overtime versus Cedar Hill to give Lancaster’s offense to opportunity to win the game, 41-35, aiding a 4-3 season record in district play.
- A two-sport athlete at Lancaster, competing on the track and field program as well.
- Consensus three-star recruit by the likes of On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN … first committed to Washington State before flipping pledge to the Red Raiders in June 2024 … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Boston College, Washington State, Texas State, Bowling Green and UTEP.
