- Attended his hometown Stanton High School in Nebraska … program competed in back-to-back NSAA State Championships under head coach David Stoddard during the 2023 and 2024 seasons, going 25-1 in that stretch … won the NSAA Class D1 title as a junior in 2023 and was the NSAA Class D1 runner-up in 2024, falling 44-42 to snap a 25-game winning streak over those two years.
- Played on both the offensive and defensive lines to go along with some action at tight end during prep career … played every position along the offensive line but is projected as a tackle at the college level.
- Named a first team All-State selection following both his junior and senior seasons … tabbed a first team All-District honoree three years in a row as a sophomore, junior and senior.
- Listed as the No. 10-ranked high school player in the state of Nebraska by BVM Sports … also recognized the No. 10 Class of 2025 Nebraska high school prospect by Sports Illustrated … his signing provided Texas Tech with two of top-10 prospects from Nebraska on that list as he joined future teammate Garin Maley from Papillion-La Vista who was No. 6 overall.
- A three-sport athlete, also competing on the basketball and track teams … logged a top shot put distance of 51’-5” in the 2024 outdoor season and a 154’-8” discuss toss … set the Stanton school record in Hexbar deadlift of 625 pounds.
- Committed to Texas Tech in June 2024 … a consensus three-star recruit by the likes of On3, 247Sports, Rivals and ESPN … ranked as high as No. 9 in the state of Nebraska by Rivals.
- CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Oregon State, South Dakota, Kansas State, Northern Illinois, Eastern Michigan, Army, Air Force, South Dakota State, Ohio, Northern Iowa, North Dakota and Montana.
