PERSONAL
- Impressed as only a true freshman, both as a wide receiver and as a returner … flashed during preseason camp with his speed, giving him quick access to the field … injuries ultimately limited him during Big 12 play, holding him to only seven games played on the season.
- Caught four passes for 45 yards on the season in limited time as a wide receiver … made two catches for 33 yards in the victory over UCF (11/15) and followed with one catch for 15 yards in the regular-season win at West Virginia (11/29) … only other catch went for a three-yard loss earlier in the season against Oregon State (9/13).
- Entered the season as one of Texas Tech’s top options as a returner on special teams … ultimately returned 10 punts for 76 yards and three kicks for 74 yards … his 10 total punt returns led the team as five of those were brought back for at least 10 yards … was second on the team for total punt return yards behind only Coy Eakin (121) … best kickoff return went for 29 yards late in the season against UCF.
- Scout team member … recognized as the offensive scout team player of the week following Texas Tech’s win at Kansas State (11/1).

- Attended Stephenville High School in his hometown of Stephenville, Texas … one of the top wide receiver prospects in the state of Texas and nationally … second wide receiver out of Stephenville to sign with Texas Tech under Joey McGuire, joining Coy Eakin.
- Two-way player for Stephenville, starring not only as a wide receiver but also in the secondary during prep career … led the Yellow Jackets to the Class 4A Division I state quarterfinal round as a senior … previously helped push Stephenville to the same round as a junior in 2023 and then the area round as a sophomore.
- Posted at least 1,000 receiving yards all three seasons on varsity to boost his stock among the state’s top wideouts … combined to make 228 catches for 4,416 yards and 51 touchdowns over his Stephenville career … also rushed 12 times for 80 yards and another score during that span, while completing four passes for 141 yards and a touchdown.
- Named a first team All-State selection by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) as a senior after catching 93 passes for 1,778 yards and 22 touchdowns, all career bests … garnered first team All-District 4-4A honors as well for a Stephenville program that finished 12-2 overall.
- Caught 74 passes for 1,528 yards and 15 touchdowns as a junior in 2023 en route to earning District 5-4A Offensive MVP honors … recognized as a first team All-State selection by Padilla Poll and a second team All-State honoree by the Texas Sports Writers Association (TSWA) that same season … tabbed a first team All-District 5-4A honoree as a sophomore after hauling in 61 passes for 1,110 yards and 14 touchdowns.
- Member of the Stephenville track and field program like many other Texas Tech signees … was one of Texas Tech’s first commitments to the 2025 class.
- Considered a four-star prospect by the likes of On3, 247Sports and Rivals … among the top 300 recruits in the country by On3, ranking No. 254 nationally … ranked as high as No. 31 among wide receivers nationally by 247Sports and No. 34 by On3 … consensus top-100 prospect in the sate of Texas, ranking as high as No. 33 by 247Sports … also listed as the No. 41 recruit in Texas by On3, No. 57 by Rivals and No. 69 by ESPN.
