- Appeared in five games as a true freshman as a backup wide receiver โฆ ended the season splitting time as the primary backup to Caleb Douglas at the โZโ wide receiver position โฆ scout team member.ย
- Caught five passes for 76 yards and two touchdowns on the season โฆ had a touchdown grab in each of his first two collegiate games with one catch for 13 yards against Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30) and then two receptions for 50 yards versus Kent State โฆ later caught two passes for 13 yards during Big 12 play against UCF (11/15).ย
- Provided Texas Techโs final touchdown in its rout of UAPB in the season opener, hauling in a 13-yard strike from Mitch Griffis with 3:20 remaining โฆ one of two true freshmen to find the end zone in the opener, joining fellow wide receiver Leyton Stone.ย
- Other touchdown came via a 38-yard pass from Will Hammond the next week versus Kent State โฆ touchdown gave the Red Raiders a commanding 55-0 lead midway through the third quarter โฆ also brought down a 12-yard pass the play before, converting a third down before finding the end zone seconds later.

- Attended Frisco Lone Star High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex โฆ big play threat as one of the top wide receiver prospects in the state of Texas โฆ helped lead Lone Star to a 12-2 record and an appearance in the Class 5A Division I state quarterfinals as a senior โฆ ย previously helped push the Rangers to the area round of the playoffs his junior season.
