- Redshirt season … did not see any game action … scout team member … joined the program as a walk-on defensive back to start summer workouts.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Played at Bastrop High School under Jake Griedl, a 5A program 30 miles east of Austin, Texas, during junior and senior seasons after attending Manor High School as a freshman and sophomore.
- Bastrop won its district title (11-5A) in 2024, going 7-0 and 9-3 overall, improving from 5-5 in 2023 and 2-8 in 2022 ... the school's district championship was its first since 2009.
- Played quarterback for the Bastrop Bears ... used a dual-threat option in the offense, accumulating eight passing touchdowns and eight rushing touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons.
- During the Bears' 7-0 district title run, he threw for 204 yards and five touchdowns while having 23 carries for 196 yards and seven TDS.
- As a sophomore at Manor while sharing the field with his brother, Quinten, a senior at the time, totaled 963 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns while rushing for 250 yards on 40 carries as the team's starting quarterback.
