- Did not see any game action during his first season as a Red Raider … scout team member … joined the program as a walk-on defensive back to start summer workouts.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Bastrop High School in the Austin area ... played under Jake Griedl, a 5A program 30 miles east of the state capital ... previously attended attending Manor High School as a freshman and sophomore before moving to Bastrop prior to his junior year.
- Bastrop won the District 11-5A title in 2024, going 7-0 and 9-3 overall, improving from a 5-5 campaign in 2023 ... marked the school’s first district championship since 2009 ... was a quarterback for the Bears, using his athleticism to record eight passing touchdowns and eight rushing touchdowns over his junior and senior seasons ... threw for 204 yards and five touchdowns while having 23 carries for 196 yards and seven scores during the Bears’ 7-0 district title run as a senior.
- Shared the field with his brother, Quinten, while a sophomore at Manor High School as a sophomore ... totaled 963 passing yards and eight passing touchdowns while rushing for 250 yards on 40 carries as the team’s starting quarterback.
