2025 SEASON (SIXTH-YEAR SENIOR)Â
- Limited to only three games played due to injury … slated to compete for Texas Tech’s starting right tackle position before injuries halted his progress throughout preseason camp … saw action in wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30), Kent State (9/6) and in the Big 12 opener at Utah (9/20) … received a medical hardship waiver, providing him a seventh season of eligibility in 2026.
- Joined the Red Raiders prior to spring practices as a mid-year enrollee … was the Red Raiders’ first portal commitment in the winter cycle, signing with Texas Tech as the No. 5-ranked offensive tackle from the transfer portal and the No. 38 overall portal prospect.Â
PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Began collegiate career in 2020 at Illinois State, playing in 30 career games for the Redbirds with 26 starts, mainly at left tackle … among the top offensive linemen at the FCS level as a junior in 2023, earning All-MVFC conference honors before suffering a season-ending injury two games into his 2024 senior season … opted to enter the transfer portal and extend career into a sixth year via the NCAA blanket waiver from the 2020 COVID year.
- Credited with 1,637 offensive snaps over his career by Pro Football Focus with vast majority coming at left tackle (1,585) … allowed only seven sacks and just 30 pressures over 874 pass blocking opportunities over his career, according to the publication …
- 2024 SEASON (SENIOR at ILLINOIS STATE): redshirt season … played in the first two games before suffering a season-ending injury (hip) ... made starts at left tackle at Iowa (8/31) and North Alabama (9/7) … was previously listed on the preseason All-America first team compiled by Phil Steele entering the year … was also a nominee for the William V. Campbell Trophy presented by the National Football Foundation.
- 2023 SEASON (JUNIOR at ILLINOIS STATE): named an All-MVFC second team selection after a standout year … started all 11 games at left tackle for an offensive line that allowed the fewest sacks in the MVFC … the Redbirds surrendered just seven sacks as a team, ranking in the top five nationally at the end of the year … was a two-time MVFC Offensive Lineman of the Week selection.
- Graded out as the team’s top offensive lineman at over 90 percent by the coaching staff … received a 79.3 overall grade by Pro Football Focus, which included an 88.1 grade as a pass blocker … ranked sixth by the publication as a pass blocker among FCS offensive linemen with at least 300 offensive snaps … was the 17th highest-graded overall offensive lineman at the FCS level that same season … credited with only one sack allowed over 381 pass blocking opportunities on the season by PFF … listed with 686 offensive snaps that season.
- 2022 SEASON (SOPHOMORE at ILLINOIS STATE): played in eight games with seven starts at left tackle for the Redbirds … posted the second-highest team grade in six of eight games played … credited with 473 offensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, allowing only one sack and seven pressures over 257 pass blocking opportunities … lone sack allowed came in the season opener at Wisconsin (9/3) … missed three of the final five games of the season.
- 2021 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN at ILLINOIS STATE): appeared in nine games as a redshirt freshman while making six starts … started the final five games of the year and six of the last seven overall at left tackle for the Redbirds … made his first career start at No. 7 Southern Illinois (9/25) … totaled 381 offensive snaps according to Pro Football Focus, surrendering three sacks and nine pressures over 184 pass blocking opportunities.
- 2020 SEASON (FRESHMAN at ILLINOIS STATE): the Redbirds' 2020 season was pushed to the spring of 2021 due to the COVID pandemic ... did not see any game action.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended University High School in Florida … school is commonly known as University School or simply U-School due to its location on the campus of Nova Southeastern University in Fort Lauderdale.
- Two-year varsity starter for the Sharks … earned second team All-County honors as a senior after helping lead the Sharks to the regional semifinals of the Class 4A RHSAA playoffs … previously helped push University School to a state championship as a sophomore.
