- Attended Forney High School in the Dallas-Fort Worth metroplex … played for one of the state’s top high school programs … helped push Forney to a regional semifinal appearance in the Class 6A Division II playoffs his senior season.
- Racked up nearly 2,000 receiving yards during his prep career, ultimately earning All-District 10-6A first team honors as a senior … total included 931 receiving yards and 10 touchdowns on 49 catches during his senior year alone … a big-play threat as a returner as well, a trait highlighted by a 95-yard kick return for a touchdown in the area round of the playoffs … previously recorded five catches for 174 yards and two touchdowns in the bi-district playoff win.
