- Chose to spend his final collegiate season as a Red Raider following three years at Tulane and then the 2024-25 campaigns at fellow Big 12 member Houston … reunites with Texas Tech defensive coordinator Shiel Wood, who was his defensive coordinator at Tulane in 2023 and then at Houston in 2024 … will be a sixth-year senior in his final season of eligibility with the Red Raiders.

- 2023 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT TULANE): limited to only one game after suffering a season-ending injury in the opener versus South Alabama (9/2) … disappointing result in his first career start after leading the team with a career-high 15 tackles in the season-opening win, which also marked the debut for the Green Wave with Wood as their coordinator … was injured on a sack late in the third quarter that caused a turnover on downs and was just the second of his career … entered the transfer portal following the season to join the Houston program.
- 2022 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT TULANE): appeared in all 13 games for the Green Wave during their historic 2022 season that ended with a win over USC in the Cotton Bowl … key reserve a linebacker and one of Tulane’s top special teams standouts.
- Recorded 25 tackles on the season (21 solo), the bulk of which came over the first six games of the year … total included 2.0 tackles for loss and a sack, which came in a win over Alcorn State (9/10) … notched other tackle for loss a few weeks later against Southern Miss (9/24) … set season highs that year with four tackles at Houston (9/30) and at home versus SMU (11/17) late in the season.
- Part of two takeaways for a Tulane defense that ranked second in the American for turnovers gained … recorded the lone interception of his career in the season opener versus UMass (9/3), which helped seal the victory midway through the fourth quarter … later added a fumble recovery midway through the third quarter against SMU, which Tulane responded with a touchdown two plays later for a 42-7 lead.
- Credited with 205 defensive snaps by Pro Football Focus, which awarded him an 80.2 overall grade … was boosted by a 83.6 grade as a tackler, an 80.9 grade as a pass rusher and a 80.1 grade in coverage … saw significant time on special teams with 132 snaps, per PFF, mainly on the kickoff return, kickoff coverage and punt return units … was Tulane’s third-highest rated special teams player with a 81.9 grade.
- 2021 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT TULANE): redshirt season … appeared in only two games on the season against Morgan State (9/11) and at East Carolina (10/2) … made his lone two tackles of the season – the first of his collegiate career – in the win over Morgan State.

- Attended Little Rock Christian Academy in his hometown of Little Rock, Arkansas … helped push the school to its third-consecutive Class 5A state championship appearance as a senior after starting on both sides of the ball … part of a state championship team his sophomore year.
- True definition of an all-purpose player at the prep level with Little Rock using him as a running back, wide receiver, Wildcat quarterback, safety, outside linebacker or inside linebacker … closed his career as one of the top players out of the state of Arkansas.
- Finalist as a senior for the Landers Award, which recognizes the top high school player in the state of Arkansas … earned first team All-State honors that season after accounting for 24 touchdowns on offense – 14 through the air and then 10 rushing scores … totaled 71 tackles, including 3.0 for a loss, to go along with four interceptions and three focred fumbles defensively.
- Earned first team All-State honors as a junior after making 154 tackles, including four sacks, to go along with four interceptions to push the Warriors to a 13-1 record … previously a second team All-State selection as a sophomore.
- Considered a three-star prospect by both ESPN and 247Sports … listed as the No. 6 player in the state of Arkansas for the 2021 class by 247Sports and No. 12 in the state by ESPN … chose to attend Tulane out of high school after originally committing to Arkansas State … also had offers from the likes of Kansas, North Texas and Louisiana Tech, among others.
