- Attended Tascosa High School in Amarillo, Texas ... one of the top defensive linemen in West Texas during prep career … helped lead Tascosa to at least the area round of the Class 5A playoffs all three varsity seasons … pushed the Rebels to the regional quarterfinals as a junior.
- Garnered first team All-District 2-5A honors following both his junior and senior seasons … collected 40 tackles as a senior despite taking on constant double teams after previously recording 103 stops as a junior … of that total, 11.0 tackles went for a loss with 6.0 for sacks to go along with nine additional pressures, three pass breakups and a forced fumble.
- Garnered Texas Panhandle Super Team honors by the Amarillo Globe-News following both his junior and senior seasons … also picked up Amarillo Globe-News Midseason MVP honors in 2024 … was a finalist for the Whataburger Super Team presented by Dave Campbell’s Texas Football as a senior.
- Two-sport athlete at Tascosa, also competing in track and field … committed to Texas Tech on Jan. 21, 2025, prior to his senior year … mid-year enrollee who arrived on campus in January 2026 after graduating from Tascosa a semester early.
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of Rivals, ESPN and 247Sports … ranked as high as No. 67 among defensive linemen nationally by Rivals and at No. 94 among prospects from the state of Texas … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Baylor, Texas State, UTEP and Sacramento State.
