PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- Expected to strengthen Texas Tech’s interior defensive line after previously earning All-MAC second team honors during lone season at Akron … will spend his final collegiate season as a Red Raider after playing first at Penn West-California (2022-24) and then Akron (2025) … appeared in 35 games during collegiate career with 30 starts.
- Totaled 118 tackles (45 solo) over his collegiate career, including 24.5 for a loss and 10.5 sacks … has recorded at least 30 tackles in each of his three full seasons at the collegiate level … added a pass deflection, two forced fumbles, two fumble recoveries and a blocked kick between his two previous stops.
- 2025 SEASON (JUNIOR AT AKRON): earned second team All-MAC honors after an impressive debut at the FBS level … led the Zips with 10.5 tackles for loss and shared the team high with 4.0 sacks on the season after appearing in all 12 games with 11 starts … was part of 45 tackles overall (18 solo) as well as six quarterback hurries, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
- Rarely left the field, playing in 657 defensive snaps according to Pro Football Focus, which raked 13th nationally among interior defensive linemen … highly-rated by the publication, earning a 76.1 overall grade and a 78.4 grade as a pass rusher … was the third-highest overall graded interior defensive lineman in the MAC … credited with 37 total pressures, which led all MAC interior defensive lineman and matched his now teammate A.J. Holmes Jr. for sixth nationally.
- Ranked 11th in the MAC with 10.5 tackles for loss, which led all interior defensive linemen in the league … recorded 9.0 of his tackles for loss against MAC opponents, which was tied with another future teammate in Adam Trick (Miami of Ohio) for seventh in the league … notched multiple tackles in 10 of 12 games overall and had four or more stops in seven different contests, including each of the final five games.
- Best performance on the season came midway through MAC play with nine tackles, 2.0 tackles for loss and a 1.0 sack at Ball State (10/18) … recovered a fumble to start the second quarter after recording a sack earlier in the drive … had at least a share of a tackle for loss in four of the final five games of the season.
- Put together another key performance a few weeks later with six tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, a shared sack and a forced fumble versus UMass (11/4) … totals included a sack on fourth down near the red zone to close the third quarter in Akron’s win … followed with four tackles in each of the final two games of the season versus Kent state (11/11) and at Bowling Green (11/18).
- Previously began the season with four tackles, including 1.5 for a loss in the opener versus Wyoming (8/28) … part of two fourth-down stops versus the Cowboys, including one that went for a two-yard loss early in the fourth quarter … recorded a career-high 2.0 sacks midway through the season versus Central Michigan (10/4) as part of three tackles.
- 2024 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT PENN WEST-CALIFORNIA): an All-PSAC West first team selection as a sophomore after helping push the Vulcans to the third round of the NCAA Division II playoffs … appeared in all 13 games and made 12 starts in the middle of the defense for a program that finished 10-3 overall and fell in the PSAC Championship.
- Recorded 41 tackles (16 solo) on the season, including 8.5 for a loss and 4.5 sacks … defensive totals included four quarterback hurries and a pass breakup … had at least one tackle in all 13 games and recorded multiple stops in nine different contests … was second on the team for both tackles for loss and sacks.
- Best performance during the season was a six-tackle outing versus Edinboro (11/9) with six tackles, including 3.0 for a loss and 2.0 sacks … previously had 2.0 sacks earlier in the year at Lock Haven (9/21) as part of three tackles … recorded 2.0 tackles for loss in the NCAA Playoffs second round win over Ashland (11/30) as part of five tackles … set a season high with seven tackles midway through the season versus IUP (10/26) and nearly matched it in the third-round loss to Slipper Rock (12/7).
- 2023 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT PENN WEST-CALIFORNIA): impressed as only a redshirt freshman after appearing in 10 games overall with seven starts … totaled 31 tackles (10 solo), including 6.5 for a loss and 2.0 sacks to go along with a forced fumble and fumble recovery … ranked third on the team for tackles for loss and was seven overall for total tackles.
- Closed the year with a tackle for loss in four of his final five outings, which started with a season-high six stops versus Seton Hill (10/14) … recorded his first career sack in that win and added his second of the year two weeks later against Mercyhurst (10/28) … notched four tackles against Mercyhurst and then at both Gannon (11/4) and East Stroudsburg (11/11) to close the regular season … performance versus Gannon included a season high 2.0 tackles for loss.
- 2022 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT PENN WEST-CALIFORNIA): redshirt season … did not see any game action.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Upper Darby High School in Upper Darby, Penn., a suburb outside Philadelphia … was a three-year starter at the prep level, leading the Royals to a 6-5 record as a senior after a memorable come-from-behind win in the annual Turkey Bowl versus rival Haverford.
- Garnered first team All-DelCo honors as a senior as well as honorable mention All-Area accolades for Class 6A … selected to play in the PSFCA East-West All-Star Game following his senior season.
- Two-sport athlete as a member of the Upper Darby wrestling program … claimed two regional championships during his prep career at the 285-pound weight class.
