Mount Enterprise went 6-0 in district and won its district under head coach Scott Ponder in 2025 ... was 13-0 heading into the state quarterfinals (as of Nov. 30) ... had amassed 98 tackles, 20 tackles for a loss, 7.5 sacks and forced five fumbles, in addition to over 3,800 yards rushing through the team’s first 13 games ... rushed for 448 yards on 34 attempts (13.2 per attempt) and six touchdowns in Mount Enterprise’s 74-46 UIL Class 2A, Division II playoff victory over Overton ... the four-star prospect set national history during that regional semifinal game, breaking the national record for total points scored in a single season with 476 after he surpassed the previous record — set by former Indiana running back Brett Law in 1988 — by more than 20 points ... he is nearing the Texas high school football record for rushing yards set by Kenneth Hall in 1953 (4,045) as he marches through the playoffs ... multi-sport athlete who does track and basketball in addition to football ... was a Texas 2A bronze medalist in the triple jump and averaged 16.1 points, 7.1 rebounds, 1.4 assists, and 1.6 steals on the hardwood in junior season, all while rushing for nearly 2,000 yards on the gridiron and producing 49 tackles and 9.0 tackles for loss .... as a sophomore, was District MVP in football, first team all district and all state in football, and placed third at the state track meet in triple jump and was a regional qualifier for 100 m dash, 4x100 relay ... as a freshman, was newcomer of the year in both basketball and football being named first team all district in both sport while being a regional qualifier in track in 100m dash and 4x100 relay ... committed to Texas Tech on June 15 … will graduate in May of 2026 ...
