- A local product out of Lubbock Cooper High School … powered LCP to an 8-4 regular season record as a senior in under head coach Chip Darden after the Pirates exited the Class 5A playoffs in the area round … regarded as one of the top athletes in West Texas.
- Set the LCP single-season record as a senior with 1,206 yards and 17 receiving yards on 68 catches … added five more scores with three kickoff return touchdowns and two rushing touchdowns … tabbed the Offensive MVP of District 2-5A as a senior after previously earning first team accolades his junior year.
