- Redshirt season … appeared in four games overall after being inserted at center in wins over Arkansas-Pine Bluff (8/30), Kent State (9/6), Oregon State (9/13) during non-conference play and then at West Virginia (11/29) in the regular-season finale … scout team member.
- Came into the season listed as the No. 3 center behind Sheridan Wilson and Davion Carter, both starters … ended the year as the primary starter to Carter at right guard … credited with 69 offensive snaps on the season by Pro Football Focus … allowed only one pressure over 25 pass-blocking opportunities, according to the publication … saw time on Texas Tech’s field goal protection unit in two of those wins as well.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Katy High School in the greater Houston area … graduated early in order to join the Red Raiders in the spring of 2025 … named a team captain as a senior for a Katy program that finished 10-2 overall.
- Katy finished 9-1 in the regular season with a first-place 8-0 mark in district play his senior year under head coach Gary Joseph … qualified for the regional round of the playoffs with bi-district and area round wins before a 10-game winning streak was snapped in the regional round.
- A two-time first team All-District honoree after being recognized after both his junior and senior seasons … selected to the final ballot for the 2024 Whataburger Super Team … tabbed to the All-District second team as a sophomore … moved to the offensive line his sophomore year after playing on the defensive line as a freshman.
- Offense averaged nearly 400 total yards per game as a senior thanks to a rushing attack that produced better than 225 yards per game … chipped in on the scoring posting a two-point conversion rush, catching a pass behind the line of scrimmage on Nov. 8 versus Mayde Creek … honored on Nov. 6 as part of an offensive line unit as Players of the Week for contributing to 183 passing yards, 239 rushing yards and five touchdowns after a 35-0 win over Tompkins.
- Became the first offensive line commit to the 2024 class, committing to the Red Raiders on June 18, 2024 … a consensus three-star recruit from the likes of On3, 247 Sports, ESPN and Rivals … ranked as the No. 41 interior offensive lineman in the nation by ESPN … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Arizona, Baylor, BYU, Houston, Memphis, Pittsburgh, Rice, SMU, Texas State, Tulane and UTSA.
