- Redshirt season … appeared in only one game, which came during non-conference play versus Kent State (9/6) … scout team member … recognized as the offensive scout team player of the week by the coaching staff following Texas Tech’s victory over Oklahoma State (10/25).
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Steele High School in Cibolo, Texas … joins Red Raider greats such as current Dallas Cowboys offensive lineman Terence Steele and NFL wide receiver Antoine Wesley as former Steele products to sign with Texas Tech.
- Starred mainly at wide receiver for the Knights, who advanced to the Class 6A Division II regional finals his senior year … two-way player that also contributed as a defensive end and outside linebacker as well … previously helped push Steele to the state semifinals his junior season.
- Carried 20 times for 400 yards and five touchdowns his senior year while also catching three passes for 86 yards and two touchdowns … added 26 tackles defensively, including 4.0 tackles for loss and 2.0 sacks, while adding 10 hurries and an interception en route to earning All-District 29-6A second team accolades.
- Previously earned honorable mention All-District 27-6A accolades as a sophomore and junior … caught three passes for 64 yards as a junior and then four receptions for 119 yards and two touchdowns his sophomore year … combined for 14 tackles those two seasons, including two for a loss … selected to play in the 2025 San Antonio All-Star Game after his season year.
- Participated in track and field in high school, competing in the 100-meter (10.4), 200-meters (21.6) and the long jump (24 feet, 3 inches).
- Consensus three-star prospect by the likes of On3, 247Sports, ESPN and Rivals … considered a top-100 recruit in the state of Texas by both 247Sports and ESPN … ranked as the No. 38 wide receiver prospect in the country by both of those publications … listed as the No. 76 recruit in Texas by 247Sports and No. 88 by ESPN … CHOSE TEXAS TECH OVER: Arizona, Oklahoma State, UTSA, Houston, Nebraska, Tulane, North Texas and Texas State.

- Sean Jacob Robinson … goes by the nickname “Rambo” to friends and family … born in Greenbrae, Calif., to parents Jernerial and Shannon Robinson … has a brother, Jalen … both parents served in the military ... his father was a Purple Heart recipient.
- Comes from an athletic family with numerous family members who played either collegiately or in the NFL such as T.J. McDonald (49ers/Cardinals), Tim McDonald Jr. (Rams/Dolphins), Tevin McDonald (Raiders), Clifton Smith Jr. (Buccaneers/Dolphins), Chevin Calloway (SMU, Arkansas), Omarr Smith (San Jose State) … also related to NBA legend and former national champion at Indiana, Isaiah Thomas.
