PRIOR TO TEXAS TECH
- One of the top wide receivers at the FCS level before transferring to Texas Tech … joined the Red Raiders with two years of eligibility remaining after previously spending three seasons at Alabama State … appeared in 24 games over his three seasons with 16 starts at wide receiver.
- Combined to catch 72 passes for 1,392 yards and 11 touchdowns as a Hornet with the vast majority coming during his 2025 sophomore season … averaged an impressive 19.3 yards per catch over his career as a big-play threat due to his speed … recorded five 100-yard receiving games during his career, all during the 2025 season … carried three times for 46 yards as well and added five kick returns for 69 yards over that time.
- 2025 SEASON (SOPHOMORE AT ALABAMA STATE): helped push the Hornets to their first 10-win season since 2004 as one of the top wide receivers at the FCS level … earned first team All-SWAC honors and second team AFCA All-America accolades by the AFCA and Associated Press accolades as part of an Alabama State program that ranked second nationally in scoring (42.4 points per game) and fourth for total offense (460.5 yards per game).
- Hauled in 51 passes on the season for 1,167 yards and nine touchdowns as one of the top receivers at the FCS level … ranked third in the FCS for receiving yards per game (97.3), fourth for total receiving yards (1,167) and tied for 17th for receiving touchdowns (9) … led the SWAC in all three categories en route to becoming only the fifth receiver in ASU history to hit the 1,000-yard mark … made multiple catches in all 12 games and had at least four receptions in eight contests overall.
- Big play threat that led the FCS level by averaging 22.9 yards per catch … had at least one catch of 20 or more yards in all 12 games on the season … roughly 45 percent of his receptions (23 to be exact) went for at least 20 yards, while 61 percent (31 catches) were for 10 or more yards … made positive ground on nearly every reception with only two catches that resulted in negative yardage.
- Among the highest-graded wide receivers at the FCS level by Pro Football Focus … received an 89.6 overall grade that ranked sixth among wide receivers with at least 40 targets on the season … had an 89.2 grade as a route runner, which was tied for eighth overall … publication listed him with 72 targets and an impressive 684 yards after catch, which was the fourth-highest total in the FCS.
- Eclipsed the 100-yard mark in five games overall, including in the lone FBS matchup versus UAB (8/28) to start the season … caught six passes for 174 yards and a touchdown against the Blazers, finding the end zone on a 69-yard scoring strike that pulled Alabama State to a 45-42 deficit late in the fourth quarter … was the first of nine catches on the year for 40-plus yards.
- Recorded first of two multi-touchdown games two weeks later against Miles (9/13) … caught four passes for 118 yards and a pair of scores in the win and followed with two catches for 43 yards – both touchdowns – two weeks later at Florida A&M (9/27) … reached the 100-yard mark again against in-state rival Alabama A&M (10/25), finishing with a career-high seven grabs for 156 yards and a touchdown.
- Closed the season with two 100-yard outings during the month of November … needed only three catches to finish with 148 yards versus Texas Southern (11/8), which featured a career-best 87 touchdown to start the game … ended the season with six receptions for a career-high 189 yards in the Turkey Day Classic win over Tuskegee (12/27).
- 2024 SEASON (REDSHIRT FRESHMAN AT ALABAMA STATE): joined the wide receiver rotation as a redshirt freshman, appearing in 10 games overall with five starts … caught 19 passes on the year for 218 yards and two touchdowns, averaging 11.5 yards per catch … also rushed twice for 36 yards and had one kick return for 18 yards.
- Found the end zone for the first time in his collegiate career with an eight-yard touchdown reception versus Miles (9/7) … other touchdown reception on the year came in the season finale versus Tuskegee as part of four catches for 87 yards … carried twice for36 yards in the win over Tuskegee as well … other top performances included two catches for 63 yards earlier in the season at Grambling (11/9).
- 2023 SEASON (FRESHMAN AT ALABAMA STATE): redshirt season … inserted into two games against Miles (9/9) and Bethune-Cookman (10/7) … made lone two catches of the season versus Miles, resulting for seven yards … utilized as a kick returner as well, combining for four returns for 51 yards on the season … had one return for 20 yards against Miles before bringing back three attempts for 31 yards versus Bethune-Cookman.
HIGH SCHOOL
- Attended Ramsay High School in his hometown of Birmingham, Ala. … helped push Ramsay to the Alabama Class 5A state title his senior year with a 41-20 win over Charles Henderson.
- Caught 71 passes for 1,254 yards and 15 touchdowns as a senior to earn second team All-State honors … led the region with his 15 touchdown receptions to collect Class 5A All-Region first team accolades.
- Multi-sport athlete, earning first team All-State honors and first team All-Region accolades in basketball as a senior … also successful in the classroom as an A/B honor roll student.
