- Attended Benedictine Military School in Savannah, Ga. … played for one of the top high school programs in the Peach State … helped lead the Cadets to the Class 4A state championship game his senior year and the state quarterfinals as a junior.
- Named the Region 1-4A Offensive Player of the Year as a senior after completing 65.0 percent of his passes for 1,908 yards and 22 touchdowns to only four interceptions … one of the state’s top dual-threat quarterbacks with 537 rushing yards and additional seven scores on the ground … threw for 213 passing yards and three touchdowns, while rushing for another score alone in Benedictine’s narrow loss in the state title game.
- Recognized as the Savannah Quarterback Club Week 10 Co-Offensive Player of the Week after a 75-7 win … needed to complete only seven of his eight passes for 182 yards and five touchdowns in just one half of play ... helped lead the Cadets to Class 4A state semifinals after an impressive 80-32 victory.
- Battled an injury his junior year, ultimately finishing with 1,352 passing yards and 11 touchdowns on 58.0 percent passing … also rushed for 147 yards and three scores in seven games … successful season helped him land in the power-100 rankings by the Georgia High School Football Daily prior to his senior season, ranking in the top-10 among senior quarterbacks in the state.
