2025 SEASON (SOPHOMORE)
- Likely one of the most-talented backup quarterbacks in the country, giving the Red Raiders a reliable option behind Behren Morton โฆ limited to eight games on the season with two starts until a knee injury cut his season short.ย
- Completed 63.3 percent of his passes (69-of-109) for 680 yards and seven touchdowns to only three interceptions โฆ dual-threat option behind center with 43 carries for 299 yards and five touchdowns โฆ marked the most rushing yards by a Red Raider quarterback in a season since Jett Duffey had 369 in 2018 โฆ accounted for at least one touchdown in six of the eight games entered.ย
- Best performance on the season was in relief of Morton in the Big 12 opener at Utah (9/20) โฆ entered the game on Texas Techโs first drive of the second half to complete 13-of-16 passes for 169 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing eight times for a career-high 61 yards โฆ both touchdown passes came in a pivotal fourth quarter, beginning with a 24-yard strike down the left side to Terrance Carter Jr. for a 20-10 lead and then a 21-yard pass to Reggie Virgil with 1:53 remaining โฆ started the drive that ended with Carterโs touchdown with a 32-yard rush, the longest of his career โฆ named the Big 12 Freshman and Offensive Player of the Week for his performance.

2024 SEASON (FRESHMAN)
- Earned the backup quarterback role early in his freshman season despite arriving on campus only the previous January โฆ appeared in four games overall with one start, which came in the AutoZone Liberty Bowl versus Arkansas.
- Completed 35-of-57 passes overall (61.4 percent) for 471 yards and two touchdowns, while rushing 17 times for 49 yards and two additional scores โฆ regarded as a dual-threat option behind center with his ability to get yards with his legs โฆ
- Made his collegiate debut in the second half of Texas Techโs rout of North Texas (9/14), completing 5-of-7 passes for 70 yards while also rushing twice for 11 yards โฆ completed his first career pass for 32 yards, hitting fellow true freshman Micah Hudson over the middle to jumpstart a quick touchdown drive.
- Most significant action of the regular season came in the second half at TCU (10/26) where he relieved an injured Behren Morton โฆ led the Red Raiders to touchdowns on each of their first two drives after entering the game โฆ finished 10-of-15 overall for 121 yards and a touchdown, while rushing eight times for 16 yards and another score โฆ found Coy Eakin on a 13-yard fade for his first career touchdown pass with 12:21 remaining in the third quarter to cap Texas Techโs opening drive โฆ followed by keeping on an RPO for a four-yard touchdown run on the Red Raidersโ next drive to take a 31-14 lead midway through the third quarter.
